Robert Täht has been selected to the senior national team since year 2013. He competed at the 2015 Men´s European Volleyball Championship (11th place) and triumphed in the 2016 edition of CEV Volleyball European League. He was also awarded with the league´s Most Valuable Player trophy. Robert Täht was one of the Estonian team leaders in 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men´s U21 World Championship that ended with 17th place for the Baltic state. Outside hitter was also the leader of Bigbank Tartu, helping the club size 2014 Estonian Championship and 2015 Baltic League (Schenker League). Last two seasons Robert Täht has played in strong PlusLiga where he has been member of Cuprum Lubin team. In 2016/2017 Gheorghe Creţu, who is also a mentor of Estonian men´s national team, used the outside hitter as one of the club´s main offensive force. In 2016 Robert Täht was voted for the best male volleyball player in Estonia.
