Jasper Diefenbach is the current captain of the Dutch national team. The middleblocker played 94 matches for the Dutch squad since his debut. In the 2016-2017 season he played at Nantes in the French league, together with Floris van Rekom and Robin Overbeeke. Diefenbach started playing volleyball at Ekspalvo Dordrecht.
