Outside hitter Torey (T.J.) DeFalco completed his sophomore season at
Long Beach State in 2017. He was named the MPSF Player of the Year and the MVP
of the MPSF playoff tournament. He competed with the U.S. at the 2015 Pan
American Games. DeFalco was named MVP and Best Spiker as a member of the 2014
Youth National Team that won the NORCECA Boys’ Under-19 Continental
Championship. He also competed with the Youth Team at the U19 World
Championship in 2015. DeFalco and Lucas Yoder won bronze at the 2013 FIVB Beach
U19 World Championships. DeFalco competed in beach at the 2014 Youth Olympic
Games with Louis Richard. DeFalco grew up in Huntington Beach, Calif.
