The 22 years old libero is another of the new faces of the Argentine Men’s Team 2017. Fernandez started playing volleyball at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires and even though he was summoning for the age-group Argentine teams his first international official participation was at the U 23 South American Championship Brazil 2014.  One year later, he participated at the U 23 World Championship at the Arab United Emirates finishing the Albicelestes in the 6th ranked place.  In the year 2016 he trained with the Argentine Seniors’ and after an amazing performance at Club Ciudad competing at the Argentine A1 League, he was once more called by Julio Velasco.
