Three Sesi-SP players head for training with Brazil

 

Bruninho helped Brazil to Olympic gold in Rio

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 28, 2017 – With Sesi-SP eliminated from the Brazil Superliga semi-finals by Funvic/ Taubate, national team coach Renan Dal Zotto has called up three of the team’s players – Bruninho, Lucao and Douglas Souza – for training at the Volleyball Development Center in Saquarema.

The coach is keen to have his team up and running as they target the FIVB World League, the South American Championship and the FIVB Grand Champions Cup this year.

The three players were members of the Brazil team that took the gold medal at the Rio Olympic Games. They will attend training at the Volleyball Development Center at different times.

Outside spiker Douglas Souza will be up first on May 2, followed by setter Bruninho and middle blocker Lucao on May 8.

Renan has already called up two other players for training: central Mauricio Souza and libero Tiago Brendle. The two will head for the Volleyball Development Center on April 30.
