Grbic took the revenge from Argentina

Teheran, Iran, June 9, 2017 – Nikola Grbic, the head coach of Serbia reminded the only loss to Argentina last year 3-0 which could be made up this year in 2017.

Serbia coach Nikola Grbic: Obviously, I am very satisfied with the approach of my team. Argentina was the only team who beat us last year in the whole world league 3-0. So, we were very prepared and concentrated for this match. I hope to do the same approach tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

Argentina coach Julio Velasco: First, I congratulate he Serbia team. I am not happy at all, because we knew that Serbia was stronger as a team than us. Our team were not confident with their personality. Some of our players were afraid, so it is normal that Serbia do great actions ae the are a strong team with good players. We can learn to play not paying attention to these things and just try to win each ball. There were some of our players that I realized were saying wow, what can we do against this team? But I do not like this. I like to fight and play as a team.

This was a team victory and a good opening. tomorrow’s match against Iran is really important for us and also the day after tomorrow against Belgium.

Argentina Captain Demian González: It was not a good match for us. We did not troubled Serbia with our serves and they played very well in attack. Our team played nervously and were not in a good psychological condition. Here are some young players who need to play more matches. We have to continue to play and work and to think of the match tomorrow.
