Argentina to play in Italy prior to World League

 

Julio Velasco's Argentina will start the World League in Russia

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 28, 2017 – The Argentine men's team will
take part in the Vesubio Cup in Naples, Italy, in the lead-up to the
FIVB World League.

The national team players practiced with the youngsters and played friendly matches.

The youngsters, including some from the Municipal School of Volleyball, shared the afternoon with Julio Velasco’s squad at Gorki Grana.

In Argentina on Thursday, the men’s squad carried out a training session with hundreds of boys at the Gorki Grana de Moron Sports Center.

Argentina open their World League campaign against Russia on June 2 in Surgut, Russia, where they will also face Bulgaria and France.  

The triangular tournament in late May will also include Japan and Italy and will be the final tune-up for the team before their World League start in Russia.
