Renan Dal Zotto has confidence on its team after the victory over Bulgaria
Cordoba, Argentina, June 16, 2017 – After a quick win over Bulgaria on Friday, Brazil’s head coach is already thinking about the Final 6 tournament his team will play on home soil.
Renan Dal Zotto (Brazil Head Coach): 'We entered the field concentrated and knowing that it was the first time we have our complete roster. We knew we have to play well; we are aware that the Final Phase in Curitiba is near and we need to play better each time. Argentina-Brazil is always a tough match, there are no favorites. We hope to play with serenity and very seriously, it is another step for us on our road to Curitiba.’
Ricardo Lucarelli (Brazil): 'We played much better than the last time against Bulgaria; in that match we gave them 40 unforced errors and today we knew that we won’t be able to win if we continue playing like that. But luckily we did it better in reception and mostly in attack, that is why we won. Tomorrow against Argentina will definitely be a good match as it always is when we face them. Besides, we play here in Cordoba, and they will take advantage of that.'

Nikolay Nikolov (Bulgaria): 'It was our strategy today to not play with the main players to save some of them because we need two victories this weekend. We know they're the Olympic champions at the moment, the strongest team of the world, so it was going to be really hard to beat them; that's why we decided to save power for the next two games against Serbia and Argentina. We're going to go for those victories and I think they're possible to reach.’
