Montenegro started very well from the get-go. They dominated the first set snatching the first set, 26-16.

The second set saw more of a fight with Kazakhstan able to keep up with Montenegro until 13-14. At this point Montenegro shifted into high gear in a large part thanks to Bojic’s powerful spikes. Kazakhstan were unable to stop their opponents and eventually conceded the set, 25-17.

The final set was a repeat of the opener. Montenegro quickly built a healthy lead and Kazakhstan were unable to match them in attack and defense. Montenegro sealed the match with a 25-19 win in the third set.
