 He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece on 5 May 1993 and has two brothers Joseph and Konstantinos. He is currently a student in the University of Physical Education in the city of Komotini, Northern Greece.

He was raised in Alexandroupoli, also in the North part of Greece and plays volleyball from the age of 10, starting from the children Academies of the club Ethnikos Alexandroupolis. He has then passed through all the evolution stages inside the club until he became 19 years old. It was then that he was transferred to the club of Ravenna, Italy where he is competing during the last 3 years. He has participated in all the Greek National teams and he is a member of the Men` s National team since 2010.
He currently belongs to the club Cuprum Lubin.

In his free time he enjoys watching basketball, playing videogames and reading.
