Andreas Andreadis was born on 14 January 1982 in Provatonas, a small village at the Evros Prefecture, in the North Eastern end of Greece, inhabited by 500 people.

He began his involvement with volleyball at the age of 13 in the club AO Tycheros where he remained for 2 years and then moved to Ethnikos Alexandroupolis, under the wings of which stayed for 8 whole years from 1997 until 2004. He has then left the region of Thraki to join club Panathinaikos in Athens where he played for 4 years until 2009.

In 2009 he moves to Panathinaikos` great rival, Olympiakos where he had the privilege to be the captain of the team for 2 years. As a player of Olympiakos he was lucky enough to work with great coaches like Anders Kristianson and Flavio Gulinelli. The next 2 years he will return to the North in Thessaloniki this time, cooperating with his, until that moment rival athlete but now coach of the team, Andrei Kravaric in the club Iraklis and next year in Ethnikos Alexandoupolis.

In 2014 he returns once more in Athens to play for AEK until 2015 meeting there an old co-athlete Jorge Elgueta. The journey did not end there but continued in club Aris Thessalonikis and Foinikas Syrou.
His current team is Paok

During his career he has also collaborated with top coaches, such as Javier Weber, Francisco dos Santos, Mauro Beruto and Alekos Leonis and great athletes, the Brazilian Olympic Games winners Dante Amaral and Marcelo Elgarden, the Serbian Olympic Games winner Ivan Miljkovic, also Harry Gomez, Liberman Agamez, Andrea Zhekov, Lucas Zygadlo, Andrija Geri?, Felipe Fontelles, Renaud Herpe and other famous names in World Volleyball.

He has conquered 3 Greek Championships, 3 Greek Cups and 2 Super Cups. He has over 130 participations in European organisations, 6 positions in Champions League level, one 2nd and one 3rd in CEV Cup level. He is a continuous and active member of the Greek National Team since 1999 with 127 participations.

He considers as most memorable moments in his career the season 2008-2009 when he reached with Panathinaikos the Final of CEV Cup against the powerful Russian Locomotiv Belgorod in front of 20,000 fans in the Athens Olympic Stadium. He also picks out the years as Captain in Olympiakos and naturally, 2011 and 2012 when he was declared best blocker of the Greek Championship. Last but not least as he says he will remember for ever the National team`s 3rd position in the Turkey European Championship.

He is married and has a 7 year old son.
