Täht: It was an emotional win

Robert Täht spikes against Greece.

Tallinn, Estonia, June 11, 2017. It was a real thriller that ended the 2017 FIVB World League Group three Pool D matches in Tallinn. After Estonian 3-2 victory over Greece 3-2 (25-13, 21-25, 22-25, 25-17, 15-11) both sides praised opponents for their good game.

Estonia player Robert Täht: It was a really emotional win for us. From the second set they started to succeed. In the fourth set Renee Teppan entered the game really well and his emotional play was very much needed.

Estonia head coach Gheorghe Creţu: We won the first set little bit too easily and probably guys started to think that it will be a quick victory for us because the previous two matches ended the same way. Greece showed very good volleyball in the second and third set. They had nothing to lose and it affected their game very well. They took risks, hit a really good serve and played good defense.

Greece player Rafail Koumentakis:
We tried a lot but we were opposed by really great team. Still we can be happy with the way how we ended the tournament. Last weeks has been a very hard period for us. We have had a lot of troubles with injuries. Although the World League was a good experience for our younger guys who could step into the national team. In the fifth set we took risks but they were not correct and Estonia got a two-three point advantage what was enough for team playing in this kind of level.
