Michshenko on fire as Kazakhstan beat Tunisia

 

Tunis, Tunisia, 10 Jun, 2017 – Maxim Michshenko scored 27 points in a match in which Kazakhstan came back from a one set deficit against home favourites Tunisia.


Hamza Nagga of Tunisia also enjoyed a good match, putting 22 points on the board for his team.

The match started very well for the home side, as they cruised through the opening set, taking it by 25-13.




The second set saw Kazakhstan taking the initiative from the very beginning. The visitors were in front for most of the set before Tunisia tied things up at the very last moment. They did not manage to break the visitors’ spirits, however, as Kazakhstan won the fascinating finish, sealing the set, 30-28.




After conceding the second set in such a dramatic fashion Tunisia were playing catch up for the rest of the match. Kazakhstan dominated the proceedings in the third set winning it by 25 points to 21.




The fourth set saw Tunisia trying to get back into the game and force a tiebreak, but it was not long before the visiting side built a healthy advantage which they were able to hang on to closing out the match with 25-21 in the fourth.
