Frankfurt, Germany, June 2, 2017 - Germany's star Simon Hirsch did not seem complacent after his team's 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-22) victory over Kazakhstan on Friday.

Germany coach Andrea Giani: “It was a good start in the World League. We have a young group with a lot of players who compete for the first time in this tournament and for the national team. They are the future of the German volleyball, so it is very important to play international games on this level.”

Kazakhstan coach Nikolchenko: “Germany is one of the best teams
in the world. The played with a lot of pressure in the service and forced us to many mistakes. But I think that we can learn when we play games on this level.”
