Giaccardi pleased how his team stepped up in decisive moments

Qatar's team celebrates

Tallinn, Estonia, June 10, 2017 - Although Greece had at least four-point leads in all three sets, it was Qatar who netted their second victory of this year´s FIVB World League and ended the match with score 25-23, 25-21, 29-27.

Qatar coach Massimiliano Giaccardi: Today we had a good game. We knew we can fight with Greece. I used all my players and I am happy how our second line-up played. I think the outcome of the game is fair. Playing until 16 points is easy for everybody but after that it gets tougher. We are focusing on these key points and today we managed them pretty well.

Greece opposite Rafail Koumentakis: After yesterday´s loss we tried to find solution for today and come back strong and win the game. But we did some crucial mistakes in every set and weren´t so concentrated in important moments. We are missing a lot of players and try to save whatever we can. We have one more opportunity to grab a win but we know it is against Estonia, who has really good team.
