Lausanne, Switzerland, June 8, 2017 - FIVB World League debutants Estonia host Qatar in Tallin Friday in what is the first ever encounter between the two sides across any official competition.
Head-to-Head• Estonia and Qatar will meet for the first time in a major competition.
• Qatar won two of their last three World League matches against European opposition. Both victories came in straight sets, both against Greece.
Estonia• World League debutants Estonia kicked off their campaign with wins over Chinese Taipei (3-2) and Montenegro (3-0) and a 3-1 defeat against Tunisia.
• Andrus Raadik scored a team-high 32 points in the opening weekend, three more than teammate Renee Teppan (29).
• Only Mexico's Jorge Barajas (71.43%) had a higher efficiency as receiver than Kristo Kollo (71.19%) in Group 3 last weekend.
Qatar• Qatar followed up on a 3-0 win over Greece in their 2017 World League opener with defeats against Spain (3-1) and Mexico (3-0).
• Qatar have won three of their last five World League matches. These three wins all came in straight sets.
• Papemaguette Diagne (27), Renan Ribeiro (26), Samb Tamsir (25) and Bojan Djukic (22) scored a combined 100 points for Qatar in this year's opening weekend (212 points in total).
