Andrea Giani believes Geman team will continue improving

Frankfurt, Germany, June 4, 2017 - Germany finished the first FIVB World League weekend in the first place after celebrating a 3-1 (25-15, 25-19, 22-25, 25-14) victory over Venezuela.

Germany head coach Andrea Giani: “It was a tough game, especially in the third set. Venezuela had some good moments, but it is important to play such games. My players will learn even more in the next weeks.”

Venezuela head coach Ronald Sarti:
“Germany troubled our reception with a great service. We made it better in the third set. We knew that Germany is one of the best teams here. They have a very experienced coach.”

Germany captain Christian Fromm: “I´m glad that we got our next three points. It was an important win but we should not lose the third set. I know that the team is very young and that they will learn to deal with these situations in the future. It is great to work with this team but we have to work in the upcoming time.”
