2.06m tall Thomas Koelewijn is one of the strongest middle blockers from The Netherlands. After making his debut in 2012 against Cyprus, he played 147 matches for the national team. Koelewijn quietly earned a spot in the starting seven, but is a well respected player since then. In 2012 he won The European League with The Netherlands, and he played an important role in the Final Four. In the 2016-2017 season Koelewijn played in the French league for Montpellier. Koelewijn started his volleyball career at Reflex Kampen.
