Turkey kept the word, says Arslan Ekşi

 

Ankara, Turkey, June 4, 2017 - Turkey’s captain Arslan Eksi recalled how the team promised not to give up during any of the matches in the first weekend of World League. Turkey kept the word, which resulted in leader’s position in pool C2.



Turkey coach, Josko Milenkoski - "It was a really difficult game for us. We don't have a wide squad because of the injuries and that makes us very tired. But my team played big today. I'm proud of them. I can't find right word to explain my happiness. Now we'll rest for two days before Japan. I'm sure that we'll be better in second stage games.”




Turkey captain, Arslan Ekşi - "We had big victory today. The Netherlands is a very strong team. But today I can say that we played with our hearts. We are so tired but happy. Before the tournament, in the press conference I said that we'll never give up and we kept our words. I would like to thank to our supporters. I'm sure that we'll continue our fight in Japan.”
