Serve key for victorious Slovakia

Slovakia's defence was too strong for China

Helsinki, Finland, June 10, 2017 – Slovakia ended the second week of FIVB World League matches with a 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 25-12, 25-21) win over China on Saturday.

It means they have now won four from six matches after earlier losses to Australia and Finland on Thursday and Friday.

Slovakia coach, Andrej Kravarik – “The difference was at the net. We pushed China with our serve so it was much easier for us to block their attacks. I am extra happy about this victory, because we had two 3-0 losses before. We proved that we have a high quality team.”

China coach, Raul Lozano - “We wanted to give new players the chance to show their skills in this match. The match was tight and both teams had their chances.”
