Cairo, Egypt, June 18, 2017 - Tuomas Sammelvuo was satisfied how his team responded in the last match after mentally difficult weekend. Finland defeated Egypt in four sets on the last week of World League of group round.
Finland coach, Tuomas Sammelvuo - “I am happy for the players because this week is very tough mentally; they deserve to win this game. We had difficult moments when Egypt played well in the third set as they played better in reception and serve, but we found resources to win. We used World League to give new players a chance and they improved a lot. World League teaches you lot as we don’t have a lot of time to practice and we spend good part of the competition traveling to places we we work in different conditions.
