Lausanne, Switzerland, June 10, 2017 - The Czech Republic host Portugal Sunday in Ceske Budejovice and look at extending their 3-1 head-to-head record after their four clashed in yhe 2014 edition of the FIVB World League.
Head-to-Head• These teams have met four times in a major international competition, each time in the World League.
• All of these meetings came in 2014. Portugal won the first, before Czech Republic took the next three.
• Czech Republic won both meetings with Portugal that were played in Czech Republic.
Czech Republic• Czech Republic's 2017 World League campaign has gone L-W-L-W-L. The fifth of those matches is the only one to be decided in straight sets (defeat against Netherlands).
