Lausanne, Switzerland, June 14, 2017 - Egypt host Slovenia Friday in Cairo, as the two teams come head-to-head for the very first time in any official FIVB competition. Slovenia are 5-1 and lead the standings, while Egypt are 1-5 at the bottom of the table.
Head-to-Head• This will be the first meeting between these countries in a major competition.
• They did not meet thus far in Group 2, as Slovenia were featured in Pools A2 and E2 and Egypt were featured in Pools C2 and F2.
