Czech Republic outplay Finland 3-1 in Seoul

 

Finland and the Czech Republic clash at the net in Seoul on Saturday

 Seoul, Korea, June 3, 2017 – The Czech Republic defeated Finland 3-1 (16-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-16) in the second FIVB World League Group 2 match of the day in Seoul on Saturday.


Finland’s Elviss Krastins was the top scorer in the match, while the Czechs spread the points around in a solid team performance.






Jan Hadrava and Petr Michalek were the joint top scorers for the Czechs with 13 points each. Ales Holubec had six blocks for the Czech Republic.






Both teams lost their opening matches on Friday, which means Finland remain bottom of the group with an 0-2 record.






Slovenia top the group after winning their second straight match on Saturday, 3-1 over Korea.
