China head coach Raul Lozano happy with comeback

Chinese players celebrate after winning the match

Kunshan, China, June 18, 2017- China had an astonishing comeback win over Japan 3-2 (20-25, 28-26, 17-25, 25-22, 17-15) in the closing match of the pool G of World League.

China captain Zhong Weijun: “I am happy to win the game, but it is a little pity that we can't go to the finals in Australia. We played not well in the second and third set, even not well in the opening of the fifth set. However, I managed to claw back in the final, which was a big encourage for us.”

China head coach Raul Lozano: “I am happy about the last part of the game, which China won the game with a 8-1 run. After we fall behind at 8-14 in the fifth set, the players on court played with their maximum attention, and I think the Japan's players didn't play well at that time. I am happy about that, the players showed what they learned in the daily training.”
