"Once again this year, we have assembled a staff of outstanding coaches," said Julien Boucher, Volleyball Canada’s Indoor High Performance Director. "These coaches will be instrumental in carrying on the Team Canada culture of excellence throughout the summer and for years to come."

Head coach Stéphane Antiga will be able to count on two assistants who are no strangers to the men's senior team. Dan Lewis, of Oakville, is Canada's former libero and recently retired from the men's team. He is currently coaching as an assistant with Team Canada's full-time training centre and will become the head coach of that programme in the autumn of 2017. Georges Laplante, from Montreal, has been involved with the programme for many years. He was the B Team head coach for the last two summers and is currently in his 19th season at the helm of the Université de Montréal Carabins.
