Kazan, Russia, June 3, 2017 – Bulgaria coach Plamen Konstatinov praises every players' contribution to the 3-2 victory over Russia.
Bulgaria coach Plamen Konstantinov: We wanted to win very much and to stay in the pool. Our performance was poor at the beginning. Russia led the match, we had nothing to respond with. We changed the style into the power game. We risked more and blocked better and every player contributed to the victory.
Russia coach Sergey Shliapnikov: We had some problems with reception and difficulties with Bulgarian block. The team got tired and these aspects didn’t let us win tonight.
Bulgaria player Nikolov Nikolay: We tried to improve the serve after previous matches and we expected a hard game. We felt the team spirit despite the fact we lost two first sets. We managed to regain the control and win in such a difficult match.

Russia player Denis Biryukov: We didn’t manage to gather as a team in set three. It was the third day and we felt the lack of the experience, especially with the reception. Bulgaria served with power and we couldn’t resist them.
